Ex Band Members & Session Musicians

Like any band around for a few years, we have a family tree and a number of guest musicians, who we would like to give a mention to

Ian McGarty

Legendary front man, lead singer and rhythm guitarist in the traditions of great blues rock singers, but with versatility to do much more. Ian left the band in July 2009 to pursue other interests. Keep your eyes open for him performing in the Stockport and Machester area.

Martyn Evans

Powerhouse drum maestro, from solid rock to R’n’B rhythm. A long time member of the band, he is now in semi-retirement, but is still on occasional call for emergencies.

Martin Holmes - Rhythm Guitar & Vocals

A long time and founder member of the band Martin retired December 2007, but is often seen at gigs making sure the standard remains up to scratch.

Colin Stafford - Roady & Sound Engineer

With the band for 5 years, Colin provided all the maintenance, technical support and sound engineering  when  playing live, and managed the diary. Colin retired from the band December 2007.

Ric Hazlewood - Drums and Bass

An accomplished naturally talented musician, Ric is an ex full-time member of the band, having filled the role of drummer and bass player for a while, Ric still occasionally drops in to as session player on drums and occasionally bass.  Ric is currently building an acting career, in Manchester and London after achieving a few small roles in both the USA and UK TV series.

Jim plays in another local band - The Still -  but has occasionally played sessions with Connection.
