Powerhouse Drum Maestro - Pete has rattled the drums on and off over the last 30 years with North West based bands such as Wildcat, Ex-Directory, Idle Hands, Touch ‘O’ Strange, Oceans Apart, Chiller, Nightowl Café, Back In Business, Dragonfly, yEARS, Undercover, Mr Bones and Some Blokes.

Early influences came from legendary artists such as Buddy Holly and Eddie Cochran. During the late Sixties / Early Seventies Mitch Mitchell (Jimi Hendrix) tested technique with some superb drumming on many classic tracks. Later on in the seventies Thin Lizzy (Brian Downey remains a drumming inspiration) and Deep Purple (Ian Paice).

Popular because of his simple solid style of drumming, and particularly the hard driving Rock & Blues Style that he has become known for. Pete has also gained a reputation as the ideal dep. drummer for bands that just have to have that ‘last minute’ replacement, the list is long but includes Hayfields own “Gene Therapy & the Chromosones”, “Cold Flame” and “The Blue’s Busters”

Joined ‘Connection’ in September 2008 following a recommendation – One rehearsal later it was just like Cinderella's slipper - What a Fit, and he hasn't been home since !!
